A Survey of Tehran Refah College Students' Evaluation of Virtual Education in the Corona Period

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the evaluation of Tehran University of Refah students towards virtual education during the corona. The research is applied in terms of purpose and is a survey that uses a researcher-made online questionnaire to collect data. The statistical population of the study included all students (undergraduate and graduate) of the Faculty of Refah who were studying in the second semester of the academic year of 1998-99.(880 people) that the counting technique was used and a total of 645 questionnaires completed by students were considered. In order to calculate the validity of some professors and experts and to observe the reliability of the Cronbach's alpha questionnaire, the items were approved in total (alpha = 0.92).In this study, descriptive and inferential statistics (one-sample, independent and Anova t-tests) were used. The results show that the evaluation of students of the Faculty of Refah in relation to virtual education is relatively desirable (average), which refers to the five dimensions and axes should be noted. In terms of virtual education goals are almost desirable, in terms of educational content, the situation is relatively desirable, based on the system (software) dimension in the average, the program support is also relatively desirable. Regarding the overall evaluation, it can be stated that the students were on average satisfied with the virtual education program of the faculty. In total, half of the students believe so the virtual education program of the faculty could not fill the gap of face-to-face classes. In other words, from their point of view, virtual educational content can not replace face-to-face classes. And face-to-face curriculum content is more desirable and useful than virtual curriculum content.
