In this study, the factors of Tehrani female students' use of modern audio media were investigated, with an emphasis on the Faculty of Welfare. The research is applied in terms of its purpose and is a survey type, and a researcher-made questionnaire was used to collect data. The results indicate that the most important factors of female students' use of modern audio media are "gaining education", "gaining awareness and information", "gaining personal identity", "gaining entertainment" and "gaining guidance", respectively. There is a significant difference between the respondents' history of using audio media and the factors of use and satisfaction of Tehrani female students with modern audio media, and between the rate of use of audio media by respondents and the factors of use and satisfaction of Tehrani female students with modern audio media, but the relationship between the age group of respondents and the factors of use and satisfaction of Tehrani female students with modern audio media is not significant, and there is also no difference between the respondents' marital status group and the factors of gaining awareness and information and gaining personal identity of Tehrani female students with modern audio media. It should also be noted that among new audio media, podcasts are the most frequently used among female students in Tehran. Overall, it can be stated that the students' views regarding the factors studied regarding the use of new media were almost favorable (average).
